Any rational thinker knows that if Barack Obama would be elected president, then the islamic world would jump for joy, because a U.S. pullout of Iraq, and soft U.S. policy against the PLO, would certainly be ahead, as well as, perhaps, Obama’s continued support of his radical muslim-backed cousin, Raila Odinga, who is trying to become president of Kenya, with huge muslim support, even killing Christians and burning churches for Odinga’s cause.

So congressman Steve King of Iowa stated the obvious Friday, that a wild celebration by Muslims is a lock if Obama wins; so who can argue that?  But the mainstream media is decrying Kings’s statement, calling it racist, and McCain has distanced himself from King’s statement already, but that’s ok, all of America knows it’s true, just ask any Muslim for confirmation, no need to ask most Christians.  Sean Hannity has an hour-long special report about Obama’s troubling relationships with muslim radicals, including Louis Farrakhan, Sunday night on Hannity’s America, but don’t hold your breath that Hannity will be talking about Odinga, so you’ll have to further research him yourself.

Those are three sentences of undiluted wing-nuttery of the highest order. This guy makes Sunday Morning Crazy EASY. I won’t hold my breath about Hannity being fair and balanced. Furthermore, I have spoken to a few Muslims. They won’t fill me in on their world wide caliphate plot, because they told me I was CRAZY for bringing it up.

First I did don’t have Chuckles’ Blog listed in my blogroll. That is crazy–and it is rectified.

Secondly, and more importantly, we have this national failure: Bush Vetoes Bill that Bars Waterboarding.

He vetoes a bill that bans torture and degrading acts upon our “enemies.” Considering his uses of the unitary executive theory, how long is before average Americans are labeled “enemies?” Remember, Bush declared Padilla an enemy combatant, and he was born in this country.

And to end this weeks SMC, we have Loyalty Oaths. I read about this originally from Boing Boing but the full text from the Times is still scary.

The idea that someone could be fired for refusing to sign a loyalty oath came as a surprise to many Californians who were unaware that public employees are still required to sign it. The pledge was added to the state Constitution in 1952 at the height of anti-Communist hysteria and has remained a prerequisite for public employment ever since. All state, city, county, public school, community college and public university employees are required to sign the 86-word oath. Noncitizens are exempt.

Strike the word Californians and replace it with Americans. Here is the text of the oath from Mattababby:

STATE OATH OF ALLEGIANCE
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter.

The teacher was fired for inserting the words “Non-violently” before “defend,” because she is a Quaker. Now the teacher in question was rehired after consulting with the Attorney General of California. What I find asinine is the spokeswoman’s statement regarding the rehiring:

“This is the best of all outcomes,” Potes-Fellow said. “We are delighted that finally this was resolved.”

The best of all outcomes would be to remove a useless Cold-War relic from Academia. How on earth does signing a loyalty oath defend America? If someone signs this oath, does it magically bind them to defending America? If so, why don’t all American’s sign the pledge…

And what if we find out government to be betraying the people? By the language of this oath, we are bound to defend the constitution? Does the Oath trump elected officials? How do we, as American’s, what is the threshold for citing the oath in defending our country?

That’s enough crazy for one sunday morning.
