Seven Years Ago…

…I did the most unpatriotic thing I have ever done.  I took a break from criticizing this administration.  By the State of the Union, 2001, I gave up on this administration.  I can see now that they have given up on the truth.  Thanks to Torteya and Think Progress for making me just that much angrier.

The late Tony Snow said this:

MR. SNOW: Let’s have some fun. (Laughter.) If you look at the Iraq statement — let’s back up. We’re in a war on terror right now — I’m going to start at the back and move forward, because the back end is something very important, which is Osama bin Laden, mastermind of September 11th, the person that many people talk about and still have concerns about, calls this fight, the fight in Iraq, “the third world war.” And he says that, “Victory for the terrorists in Iraq will mean America’s defeat and disgrace forever.

Get the lies and the facts straight. Please. Facts do not change with Press Secretaries.

  1. Sorry I ignored this one for so long.
“I did the most unpatriotic thing I have ever done. I took a break from criticizing this administration.”
No you didn’t. I was there.

  2. Yes we did. On 9/11 we were on the back porch bitching about the awful response we predicted would come from Dubya and noticing the lack of air traffic in the sky.
