A week from today, I’ll still be recovering from the Decemberists show in the Pritzker Pavilion. Next week is going to be a classic Chicago Summer–hot and muggy–and I am playing hookey from work in order to ensure that I have decent seats for the show.
Now I need a posse–similarly minded individuals who will give their job the finger and enjoy the summer. People ditch work to watch the Cubs lose all the time–why not one of the world’s greatest bands?
I’d love to… if it weren’t halfway across the country. I’ve only seen the Decemberists play a festival set so it wasn’t as long as a headlining one. It was still awesome though.
