ABC News: Bush Aware of Advisers’ Interrogation Talks:
President Bush says he knew his top national security advisers discussed and approved specific details about how high-value al Qaeda suspects would be interrogated by the Central Intelligence Agency, according to an exclusive interview with ABC News Friday.
“Well, we started to connect the dots in order to protect the American people.” Bush told ABC News White House correspondent Martha Raddatz. “And yes, I’m aware our national security team met on this issue. And I approved.”
I don’t know what is more disturbing: that he admits to torture, that we, the American people, aren’t outraged at this or that there is minimal mention of this on the “liberal media.”
I’m looking for protests and marches to join. Until then I would ask any and all bloggers who read this to Join the ACLU’s campaign to hold Bush accountable for torture. I also ask that you call and write your senators and state representatives to also hold Bush accountable.
The Mainstream “liberal” media may cut Bush some slack on this. We should not.

I am constantly amazed that my neighbor is still willing to cut Bush slack after the last 8 years.
I am amazed at my self restraint regarding my godmother’s decision to support Bush and McCain. I love her to pieces, but it is so hard to swallow.
