Thanks to Anna, I have a hat. In fact, thanks to her, I have multiple hats. Two people who have seen this hat have commented on its quality and construction. Now I wear it to keep myself pretty.

At the end of Festival Lane was one of Stratholme’s homiest of pubs. The food was typically sub-par and the privvy was always in shambles, but the drinks were never watered down and the regulars were warmer than Northron folk tended to be.
Bricu’s men were welcome there. Since courting their daughter, the proprietors of Stackpole’s Public House treated Bricu’s brigade as family. It quickly became the place for other off-duty soldiers.
Bricu and his remaining squad stood outside the door to the pub. It has been fortified with wood, iron and holy symbols to ward of the plague and the plague ridden. Inside its walls were Bricu’s family. A beautiful girl who loved him, a young man that looked up to him and surrogate parents who treated him with all the kindness in the world.
Bricu has his men fall into over watch in the front of the building. He ordered the burliest soldiers hack the door down then stand watch outside.
“Eammon? Markita?” he said as he walked into the pub. There was no answer other than the groans and sobs of the plagued. This did not make his task easier. Bricu carried out his orders, one at a time.

Long story short: I had to redo a video I’ve been working on for a retirement party. On the plus side, I got more music/pic sychroncity, but I doubt other people will care about that.
This week’s Friday feature… It has to be something I worked on this week. I got nothing yet. It may actually be a WoW thing, since its the only bit of writing I’ve done since Sunday….
A Little Bit Drunk Outside
Before I go do even nerdier things than blog, I will post some of my favorite expressions for “drunk.” Each of these I learned from my parents. Feel free to post your own.
“It got a little bit drunk outside.”
“It got really drunk outside.”
“I’m just overserved.”
“I’ve gone beyond overserved. Now I’m tipsy.”
“THOUSAND DOLLAR CAT! LET’S GO!”
Really?
So I have a ton to blog about and work on: Blago, Obama’s first week vs Bush’s, my Scary Kid Story, Facebook and my upcoming toastmaster speech (which I think I’ll be able to podcast). Instead, I’m working on a video for a retirement party. The cool thing: I’m at home and I can drink beer. The shitty thing? two hours of work has resulted in less than 30 seconds of video. But damn. Those 25 seconds rule.
I have two minutes as iMovie renders the clips…

WordPress showed me that this question, “missed court date is adhd an excuse?” was one of the search results that led to my blog.
No. ADHD is NOT an excuse for missing court. If you have a slick lawyer, they maybe able to get you out of one court date using “medical concerns” as an excuse; however, as a whole, ADHD will not get one out of a court date.
