I am glad you picked Beloit. It was there that you met Chuckles and AG wouldn't have gotten to know you if you hadn't known Chuckles.

Thank you Beloit and Chuckles for such a great person in my life!

Thanks for the explanation about both questions - I thought that was your middle name from FB and I was curious. Also interesting to know you looked at Knox - it would have been odd to have three alum from our high school there instead of 2 (the student body was around 1100 at the time).

Why do political campaigns always turn negative?

Why do states not pass laws to allow people to register to vote and vote on the same day (like in Wisconsin)?

How do you feel about proposals to lower the drinking age to 18?

You asked ME a question, so I will answer it. I was screaming for two hours at the NKOTB concert. Read my blog once in a while, won't you?

Dear OPB,

How is it that some people, when they travel, look so poised and put together - breezing through security, their rolly suitcases, laptop bags and coats gliding along behind them so easily - while I, even after six years of traveling at least three times a year for work, am still the most awkward traveler ever?

I don't wear complicated shoes through security; I know which things I wear will set off the security sensors and therefore take them off beforehand; I even pack efficiently.

And yet.

I'm the one whose rolling laptop bag gets stuck on every possible thing that sticks out, and whose pile of stuff seemed so manageable when packing, once at the gate becomes awkward and unwieldly?

How do other people do it and look good?
